How to Register Factories & Establishments in Bangladesh

Regulatory Authority

All factories and establishments in Bangladesh must be registered with the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) under the Labour Act, 2006. The registration process involves submitting an application to the respective District Office of DIFE for:

New Construction

Required Documents for Registration

📌 For New Factories & Establishments:

Construction Design – Factory layout plan
Trade License – Photocopy of a valid trade license
Duly Filled Form-1 & Form-2 – As per regulatory requirements
Memorandum of Association (MoA) – (For Limited Companies only)
Original Treasury Challan – Proof of license fee or renewal fee payment
Payment Receipt – License and renewal fee paid based on the number of workers
